I understand that film can be an art but it’s often hard to see the results.  It has often seemed more important to just help people in need or be a part of a movement directly instead of just sit behind a camera and watch it happen.  But now there is quantifiable evidence showing up that film can have a broader impact.  Some new studies look at a few films from recent years and track their effects.
